Looking for things to do in the Clare Valley beyond the usual cellar door stops? The Skilly Valley Way returned for its second year on 3 October 2026, bringing together local wineries, gin distillers and breweries for a full day of discovery, food and fun.
Created by Kilikanoon in 2025, the Skilly Valley Way was designed to encourage visitors to venture beyond Clare and discover the producers and experiences tucked into the Skilly Valley, a lesser-explored corner of the region.
Eight venues took part, showcasing the diversity of the area, from Clare Valley wines to locally crafted gin and beer. A hop-on, hop-off bus connected the participating venues, making it easy to explore without worrying about driving between stops.
Food trucks, live music and family-friendly activities added to the atmosphere, creating a relaxed day out with something for everyone. Whether discovering a new favourite drink, enjoying local food or exploring a different corner of the region, the Skilly Valley Way offered a fresh way to experience the Clare Valley.
As the driving force behind the initiative, Kilikanoon Cellar Door Manager Nicole is proud to bring local producers together and help visitors discover more of what our region has to offer.
Following another fantastic day, we're looking forward to the Skilly Valley Way returning in October 2027.
