At the very pinnacle of our Kilikanoon portfolio is Revelation; a celebration of the very best wine made at Kilikanoon in any given year. Unrestrained by varietal, vineyard or regional convention, this wine represents a blend that surpasses all those other wines beneath it.The inaugral vintage of Revelation in 2010 was created from two estate grown Clare Valley Shiraz vineyards. Made in tiny quantities and using traditional winemaking techniques, the wine was matured in 100% new French oak hogsheads for 24 months before bottling both unfined and unfiltered. It has been given well over eighteen months to further improve and mature in the bottle before release.
Inky purple in the glass.
Compelling and explosive on the nose, waves of tobacco, liquorice, tar and smoky oak notes overwhelm the senses.
Sweet dark cherries, tar and earthen spices flood the palate. Rich and textural, the wine deftly combines it's mouth filling quantities, juicy natural acidity and fine grained tannins in a long, rewarding finish.

Our Baudinet Blend is named after a partner in Kilikanoon, Bruce Baudinet, who owns the Clare Valley vineyard where the Shiraz and Mataro are grown.
The 2014 vintage, with its cool nights, warm days and mostly dry conditions was perfect in slowing down the ripening process, elevating the distinctive regional fruit characters and seamless blend composition.
The Baudinet GSM blend is a more recent addition to our Clare Valley portfolio and one that pays homage to our affection for Rhone styled blends. Traditional winemaking techniques including open topped fermenters, basket pressing, fifteen months maturation in seasoned French oak hogsheads and bottling the final blended cuvée unfiined and unfiltered has increased both the wines appeal and cellaring potential.
Brick red in colour with deeper crimson tints.
Savoury meats, dark cherries, kitchen spices and subtle French oak notes feature prominently on the nose.
The perfectly scripted, Rhône styled blend, seamlessly coming together on the palate. The 50% Grenache providing the red cherries, vibrancy and perfume, the 40% Shiraz the robustness and texture and the 10% Mataro the savoury nuances, charcuterie and final persistence.

Very much a sentimental favourite, the Duke is carefully blended from two single Grenache vineyards in Watervale, aged 72 and 78 years respectively. Both vineyards dry farmed, hand pruned and hand harvested. From each hand-picked parcel arriving at the winery, to the small open topped fermenters that were used, to the basket pressing to three to six-year-old seasoned French oak hogsheads, traditional vilification processes have been followed, hardly changed over many generations of winemaking. Some extended skin contact and bottling the final cuvee, both unfined and unfiltered, has maximised the wines true potential.
Brick red in colour with brilliant crimson hues.
Perfumed and aromatic with a plushness and innate satisfaction to the nose, red currants, dark cherries and strawberry compote combine and are further enhanced with subtle oak and spicy herb nuances, contributing to the wine’s overall appeal.
Instantly recognised as Grenache – from its long, mineral driven structure and chalky tannins, to its bright cherry and blackcurrent fruits – the wine remains anchored to its unique terroir. Its sense of place carried from start, through to a persistent, flavoursome finish.

A 100% single vineyard wine, hand selected from the traditionally pruned bush vine Kelly vineyard in Sevenhill, planted in 1932.An important wine within our Reserve portfolio, the Kelly Grenache gets maximum attention in the cellar. We know that great wines always start off in the vineyard, but once this small parcel of fruit arrives at our winery, it is vinified in a small open-topped fermenter, allowed extended time on skins, basket pressed into seasoned French oak hogsheads and allowed to mature for 15 months in the cellar. Bottling the wine both unfined and unfiltered has further enhanced its complexity.
Bright red in colour with youthful crimson hues.
Dark cherries, fresh strawberries, cashew and truffle oil rise up on the nose, nicely underpinned by subtle toasty oak.
Richly flavoured and textured; a striking introduction of dark cherries, layers of dark chocolate, licorice overtones, seasoned meats and smoky oak notes seamlessly roll into a finish bound by chalky natural tannins and slippery acidity.

With the exception of the 2011 vintage, each year since 1997 we have released the iconic Oracle Shiraz. Crafted from old vine fruit grown along the Golden Hillside in Leasingham, it continues to display the opulence, regional character and varietal power the valley is so renown for.
2014 was a cooler and more protracted vintage in the Clare Valley, allowing the Shiraz blocks along the west face of the Golden Hillside to ripen more slowly, bringing all parcels to their very optimum levels of maturity.
Low yielding Shiraz parcels were chosen across our Golden Hillside vineyards, vinfied separately using time honoured traditional techniques, then aged for 18 months in a selection of new and one year old French oak hogsheads. Bottling occurred without any fining or filtration.
Brick red in colour with youthful crimson hues.
Richly hedonistic, the nose jumps out of the glass, vigorously capturing the alluring aromas of dark chocolate, coal tar, exotic spices and complimentary French oak char.
A wine of tremendous concentration, complexity and understated elegance, the palate brims with riper plums fruits, dark chocolate and tar nicely paired with classy French oak and polished tannins that carry over in the mouth well after the wine has been consumed. A wine made for the ages.

Released as our finest Riesling cuveé of the vintage, the 2016 Mort’s Reserve was chosen from a single block on our famed Mort’s Block vineyard. Planted in 1970, it’s red loamy topsoil over the much deeper limestone base and east – west orientated rows are the perfect ingredients from which to craft this wine.
The 2016 vintage proved to be an excellent one for Riesling. We carefully monitored flavour development and identified very early in the vintage which blocks were looking superior. The quality of the fruit almost enabled the wine to make itself. The cooler nights are instrumental in retaining high natural acidities, intense flavours and long ageing potentials.
Showcasing the most distinguished of Kilikanoon’s terroir, Mort’s Reserve Riesling is a symphony of texture and complexity. We use only hand harvested fruit and free run juice, before a long and cool ferment; crafting the unequivocal essence of Kilikanoon.
