Mr Killerman lived in a humble tin shed in the hills behind Kilikanoon. He roamed and foraged through the valleys and outcrops of the Clare Valley for his meals. Mort Mitchell grew to know and respect this man from the bush, they both learned the secrets of the rich landscape and to become one with the environment.
