The Oath Cabernet is sourced from the best rows at our Leasingham vineyard. These are overlooking Watervale. Allowing for maximum concentration of fruit, showcasing the Kilikanoon house style consisting of Powerful Elegance.
Fermented in open fermenters for 7-8 days. Pumpover twice daily. Basket pressed into quality French oak hogsheads 5% new balance 2-5 years old. Maturation in barrel for 15 months prior to blending and bottling. No Fining or filtration.
Brick red in colour with youthful crimson hues.
Complex aromas of dark cherry, red plum, licorice and dried herbs.
Perfectly balanced with vibrant upfront red fruits and complex savoury nuances. The fruit is supported by fine ripe tannin which give definition and structure to a long and persistent finish.
