A big, old‑school red showing plenty of chocolatey richness and dried‑fruit character. The finish is sturdy and a touch resinous from the oak, giving it that unmistakable traditional feel. It’s exactly the sort of wine many seasoned red‑wine drinkers gravitate toward.

Tasting Notes

The rich aromas are mimicked on the palate with flavours of blackcurrant, black tea & olive tapenade. The intensity & complex flavours of this wine stem from the small berries that were taken from vines of such age. This wine has naturally developed intensity & while stunning now, will develop gracefully over the next 15 years.
