2016 Settlement Block Shiraz

Following the World Wars, the Clare Valley was part of the nationwide soldier settlement schemes, where blocks of land were given to returning soldiers in recognition of their service.

The cuvee is sourced from vines across several of these Settlement Blocks located in Leasingham. Warm days and cool nights allow this wine to showcase the thumbprint of Kilikanoon shiraz – exceptional power, elegance and length, while the use of fruit sourced from multiple blocks, along with careful oak aging deepens the complexity on offer. Rich and satisfying already, bull will cellar for a good ten years in desired.
