“Despite being almost one month behind the last 10 year average, the 2017 vintage looks like it will be well worth the wait, with the first parcels of Watervale Riesling being harvested on Thursday the 2nd of March.
The first blocks off were Morrison’s, Walton’s, Fareham’s and the iconic Mort’s Block coming off today, the 6th of March. We'll start picking Shiraz towards the end of next week, beginning 13th March.
The cooler night temperatures have positively influenced the fresh citrus and lime flavours as well as the higher natural acidities."
